Hologram Lights by Tronconi

How many possible ways can you reinvent something as basic and run-of-the mill as a table lamp? Take it from me, a guy who started a lighting blog, the ways are infinite! Take Mirage, a new fluorescent table lamp by Italian designer Lorenzo Longo for Tronconi. Actually a hologram in the shape of a table lamp, the front diffuser shows the hologram image of the lamp, while the Opaline rear diffuser emits a bright light, perfect for reading. Available in 3 colors, Mirage is a beautiful, sleek and futuristic lamp. Unfortunately you're going to have to wait till Christmas if you want to pick one up. If Christmas just isn't close enough for you, perhaps you can satisfy your craving for cool lights by looking at the rest of Tronconi's catalog of pendant lights, floor lamps, table lamps and wall fixtures.

With some fixtures priced below $200, Kovacs lights are equally modern and stylish. Adding a light fixture or two to a room is a great way to both brighten things up while providing a splash of contrasting color. Lights out until next time! - Via Design Milk / Photos Via Tronconi
