In looking for alternative coat-hanging options, we decided on getting some wall hooks. Easy to install and halfway decent to look at, wall hooks free up precious closet space and provide an otherwise empty wall with some texture and color in the form of hanging outerwear! Genius, I tell you.
A couple of weeks ago, BlueAntStudio (one of my favorite design blogs) had a post about some innovative wall hooks with built in LED lights. Designed by Daniele Trebbi for Pallucco, "Alone" features a linear design enhanced at the rear by an opal finish ring filled with a bright, white light. The effect is beautiful, creating a bright halo on the wall and around the garment or bag hanging on the hook. Line a few of them up together for a beautiful light and shadow display or just use one as a wall sconce for some extra light in the corner of the room. The Alone light and coat hook is rechargeable battery powered and can last up to 60 hours if used continuously, thanks to the efficient LED bulb. You can also opt for a wired version instead. Alone is available in red, white and black. Contact Pallucco for pricing information. Lights out and have a great weekend!- Via BlueAntStudio and Apartment Therapy
