Vance designed this piece, and several others for the Bergdorf Goodman window display in New York City. Vance is a true genius, having worked previously as a window dresser, set designer, prop stylist, interior designer and a slew of other artistically-motivated careers. According to an interview with the artist posted on the Rochambeau blog, Vance has been doing window displays for Bergdorf Goodman for the past few years. Here's hoping this beautiful partnership continues!
At any rate, these brilliant paper creations got me thinking about other cool-looking paper lights. I did a post a while back about modern paper lanterns that you can check out if you want. Lights out until next time! - Via TheDecoDetective Via Rochambeau

Those are so ornate! I would not have imagined them to be so grand. :)
Loving that first chandelier!
Thanks for the comments! Yes, that James Vance is just so elegant! I love it! It looks both delicate and heavy at the same time. I might have to take a trip to Bergdorf Goodman to see it...that is if it's still there!
Thanks for the mention dear! I hope everyone who reads this also visits Rochambeau, who, as Jamie said, featured James Vance before me =)
